| | Have you ever gone out to eat with a large group of people and let one person try to divide out the bill at the end that has no concept of math? I recently went out to eat with some friends for a birthday, so already the bill would be all the people minus one. When the bill came it was divided and each of us grabbed our wallets and gave money, calculating extra drinks, sides and whatnot. Seems simple, unless the bill is miscalculated and there is not enough there. Okay, so we're all human we can make a mistake, but after dividing up the bill you'd think it'd be encouraging to divide the rest of it up correctly. Not so for this dinner the rest of the bill had to be divided up three times before it was somewhat accurate. You know the stereotype about Asians being good at math? Well this certainly proved that wrong. I think what made it worse was the person dividing up the bill suddenly didn't have enough money to put it into the pot (probably from another faulty calculation somewhere down the line). Anyway, we ate pizza and that was good.
After dinner we ate frozen yogurt and played a game called "Battle of the Sexes". For those of you who have never played this game . It's a trivia game were you divide into two teams, male vs. female and try to get your pawns over the gender barrier into the other sexes territory by answering questions that the other team is supposed to know the answers to. For example: Question to the guys: What two colors mixed together make the color pink? (the answer to which the guys almost got wrong) Question to the girls: Name two car companies with a lion as their logo. Can you guess the answer to that little gem? I think the question should have been name one of the two car companies with a lion for a logo. I was asked this question and I got one part of the answer, and I could see the other "lion" in my head but couldn't remember where I saw it or what company it was. This question is still bothering me now and I know the answer, and I can't believe I missed the question I'm disappointed in my inner car guy. The girls ended up winning anyway, though we did have a guy on our team though the only answer he helped us with was something where the answer was Babe Ruth, and I now know what pitching a perfect game is verbatim (we made the teams answer word for word as to make things a little more interesting). Over all "Battle of the Sexes" was a fun game though for people with good memories only playable once through unless you get a new deck of questions every time.
